COURSE CLASSICAL STILL LIFE AND CLASSICAL PORTRET (certified by the Russian Art Academy of St. Petersburg) A skilled Russian professor will come to the Netherlands to reintroduce lost basic knowledge and basic skills of classical painting. What is 'classical painting'? In a nutshell: training eye and hand in dstinguishing and applying light and dark areas. Studying from reality, chiaroscuro, the fine game of light in all its nuances, Teachting in composition, constructive drawing, life model etc. etc. The Russian artists work to the highest quality standards in sharing their knowledge with undevided attention. This certified course will be given as a Russian Art Academy Course. The student will receive a Certificate of the Russian Art Academy. Classes will be in English. In April 2011 a lady from Canada visited my church. I really enjoyed to meet the person behing the email and exchange experiences. In October I was contacted by a Canadian Artist who homes a prophetic painting group at her workshop. Her group had some counselling and in future we will have further contacts. New Building On Sundays at 10.30 am I visit my church in De Poort building, Kadijksplein in Amsterdam. Entrance on the side of Nieuwe Vaart. My church will be moving to another location as from beginning of 2012 This new building is currently being renovated. There will be much more space there and hopefully future classes of painting will take place overthere.
